1 North Steakhouse in New York

"1 North is a pretty good steakhouse. I ordered the 16 oz boneless ribeye with garlic mash potatoes and sauteed broccoli. It was cooked to a beautiful medium and was delicious. For appetizer, I got the lobster bisque. It was good but a bit too salty. The service was good. It was kind of warm in the restaurant though. It could've been cooler by 3-5 degrees. Overall good experience."

"We were at a large family and friends gathering. Many different appetizers were served, and every one was superb. The best were the chopped lox mixture on spoons and the bacon wrapped scallops with sweet barbeque sauce. The friendly staff helped a lot getting drinks for everyone, passing through the crowd to serve appetizers on trays and clearing away empty glasses and trash. This is a very popular restaurant and bar for dinner and drinks year-round."

"On Sundays they have a prixe fixe dinner meal deal that is an Insane value. $60 app, main, and dessert Thursdays they also have a bottle of wine + 2 mains for $100, a great date night. It’s limited options but a ton of high quality food. The value here is what is making this a 5 star review. sandy was our waitress, she was great. Had I paid $100 for my dinner alone instead of $60, I’d probably be rating 4 stars. The food was solid but not in the top 20% of steaks I’ve ever had. I also found everything a bit salty for my taste."

I ordered the Filet accompanied by a baked potato and brussels sprouts, while she relished the grilled shrimp and salad. The service was exceptional. The restaurant is quite spacious, well-maintained, and offers ample parking. It is an outstanding option for a quality steak."

"My husband and I had dinner here on a Sunday night. It was a little on the later side, so the restaurant was not too busy. I have no complaints! The food was delicious and well portioned, our drinks were made with love, and the customer service was outstanding! The chef came out and personally delivered our food, which was a nice surprise!"

"Oh, what a night!! I forget who sang the song but it was memorable. We took a shot at leaving campus on the north fork and ventured to One North in Hampton bays. The experience was like the first time if you get my gist?? The night was truly a 5-star experience. We weren't looking for a fancy night but we got way more than expected. We aren't Covid deniers but feel the risk is worth our supporting locally owned business. Chris and Lauren are hands-on owners who deserve the 5-star rating. Easy location on Montauk highway with plenty of parking. The grounds were perfectly manicured and outdoor seating was available. We chose the bar as we often do to get a feel for what the place is really like. Our masked bartender Troy greeted us and quickly served us an adult beverage ( the old fashion was perfect!) Great bartender! We split the Ceasar salad and my wife had the burger and I went with the Salmon. Ok, I wished I got the burger but the salmon with asparagus and jasmine rice was the best I ever ate. Oh yeah, I had a taste or two of the burger and fries and it too was over the top. Having sold meat in a past life I can tell you One North pays attention to the beef they are serving. Tasting it you will quickly understand the difference between goods, choice, and prime. Their beef is the real deal. Even the cappuccino was one of the best I ever had. how many times can I say that? The bottom line, it's a steak house and pricey but you won't mind paying for something that is of value and this place offers value. Put it on your list, support a local business, and have one of the best meals you'll ever get."
